Sydney Alice Clark was awarded a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the Sorbonne and became an Associate Professor of English literature; she is a fiction writer and has also published extensive literary criticism in French and American journals. She has a passion for animals at liberty and sports in the open air; her affinity for painting is matched only by her love of literature which is her veritable raison d’être.  Sydney Alice Clark lives in the environs of Paris.
